Wearing a coloured eye liner may sound like something reminiscent of your school days. However, a clever hint of colour on the inner rim of your eye (the gooey bit I call it) can bring out your natural eye colour. Simply pick the same colour kohl liner as your eyes. Here’s a picture of mine from yesterday.

1My essential skincare
People who know me will know that I go through phases of having nasty sids (spots) and uneven skin tone. On top of this I also have sensitive skin which makes picking a good face mask tricky. After a few sessions of fake tan my skin (yes I’m very pale) ends up looking tired, dehydrated and spotty.

So I always have an evening once a week where I apply my Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel, with natural fruit enzymes of exfoliating papaya and calming pineapple it really does smooth and clarify the complexion. Simply leave on for 10-15 minutes and rinse.
Here are the finished results with no make up (or fake tan)

Starting a little something called The Changing Room Diaries to document trying clothes on - the good, the bad and the ugly. Today I went into Topshop and wanted to try and find a nice pair of coloured pastel denim. Here’s what I found! Pea green or yellow? That is the question.
Feeling under the weather? Watching Sex and The City whilst in bed makes everything better. It’s a girl thing.

1Most people think the idea of staring as a ‘model’ in a marketing campaign being brilliant. I did. That was until I realised I would be stood next to two agency represented models who were absolutely gorgeous and who have done this sort of thing before (60 times over).
Never the less, little old me, with my glass half full approach to everything (someone once told me that it is half full so you can top it up with vodka) I stepped on my train at Loughborough to get to Big Sky Studios in London, not really knowing what to expect.
On arrival the team were full swing, music playing, setting up and eating a yummy breakfast. I wasted no time and got straight into trying on the clothes (the best bit) with stylist Melina, who has worked with brands such as Urban Outfitters and Paul Smith. I instantly felt at ease.
The rest of the time went swimmingly - into hair and make up (it’s really amazing what it can do) and out straight back into the clothes ready to get on with the shoot.
Three weeks later I am now on billboards, bus stops and on various banners/posters around the Highcross Shopping Centre, stood next to the gorgeous Lisa – Marie and I still can’t get used to seeing me!

Skin care essential - my Decléor Aromessence ylang ylang oil from John Lewis.
Apply 2 small drops to the palm of your hand and rub together. Then hold your hands over your nose and inhale for a few seconds. Feeling relaxed yet? Finally rub all over your face and feel purified.
Although a little more pricey than your traditional skincare, 15ml has lasted me 5 months so far and I still have just under half left!
Use in a morning after cleansing and toning.
